FOR CARRIERS, DISTRIBUTORS & COLD-CHAIN TEAMS

Every handover.
A clearer picture.

Connect temperature-sensitive journeys with evidence your operations team can use.

Goods move through warehouses, loading bays, vehicles and receiving points. Responsibility changes at each handover, but the product’s temperature requirements remain. Plan a Thermologix deployment around the journey so teams understand what is being monitored, where data can be transmitted and who responds when an issue appears.

VALUE FOR YOUR ORGANISATION

Better visibility.
More informed decisions.

Reduce uncertainty at handover

Use relevant readings to support discussions about conditions before dispatch and at receipt.

Investigate with context

Review temperature history alongside shipment records, timestamps and handling information.

Coordinate responsibility

Agree who receives notifications and how carrier, warehouse and customer teams communicate during an excursion.

WHERE IT CAN FIT

THE RISK OFFICER’S VIEW

Know the weak points.
Plan the response.

Monitoring works best when it is part of a clear operational process.

Risk to considerWhat the data can tell youWhat your team owns
Coverage gaps on the journeyA device may record while fresh platform data is unavailable.Assess route coverage and agree an outage response before dispatch.
Metal containers or dense loadsPhysical obstacles can affect radio communication.Test communication in the intended vehicle or loaded container.
Unclear responsibilitySeveral parties may see an issue without knowing who owns it.Define the handover, notification recipients and response contacts.
A data gap treated as normal conditionsAn absence of fresh readings is not proof that temperature is acceptable.Check the last reading time and use the agreed contingency procedure.

HOW IT WORKS IN YOUR OPERATION

Sensor. Network.
Platform. People.

Map the storage-to-delivery journey first. Select monitoring points and confirm whether NanoTag fits the shipment and packing method. Assess LoRaWAN gateways and coverage at sites and along the route. Add devices to ThermoCloud, define limits and notification responsibilities, and test the communication path before expanding the deployment.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW

A reading becomes
a decision.

Illustrative scenario: a receiving team questions a consignment after a loading delay. Available temperature history helps identify the period requiring investigation. The parties combine readings with shipment documentation and the authorised product-assessment procedure. Where coverage was missing, the team treats the information gap explicitly.

Process example, not a reported client case study.

PLAN THE RIGHT DEPLOYMENT

Get the fit right
before you scale.

The documented NanoTag connectivity is LoRaWAN. GPS location tracking, a cellular fallback and guaranteed connectivity at sea or across borders are not established features. Backup memory is documented, but automatic upload of all missed readings after reconnection is not confirmed. Validate recovery behaviour and retention for the actual device revision.

Start the conversation here.

  1. What is the full journey, including staging and transfers?
  2. Where are LoRaWAN gateways available and where are the expected gaps?
  3. Will devices operate inside metal trailers or dense packaging?
  4. Which party owns each notification, investigation and handover record?
