FOR PRODUCERS, FOOD BUSINESSES & QUALITY TEAMS

Keep quality
in the picture.

Make temperature conditions visible from chilled storage to the next handover.

Freshness depends on the product, time and handling conditions. A temperature gap can turn a routine delivery into a quality investigation. Thermologix gives your team recorded readings, configurable notifications and reports to help identify issues and strengthen the way temperature-sensitive goods are managed.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Food-quality managers · packhouse teams · cold-store operators · retailers · hospitality operations

VALUE FOR YOUR ORGANISATION

Better visibility.
More informed decisions.

Support quality protection

Make monitored conditions visible so teams can investigate changes and take appropriate action.

Understand recurring problems

Review trends alongside door-opening, loading and equipment-maintenance records to investigate repeated excursions.

Strengthen handover discussions

Bring relevant temperature histories into receiving checks and supplier conversations rather than relying only on recollection.

WHERE IT CAN FIT

Build around the work
you need to protect.

THE RISK OFFICER’S VIEW

Know the weak points.
Plan the response.

Monitoring works best when it is part of a clear operational process.

Risk to considerWhat the data can tell youWhat your team owns
Loading delays or repeated door openingsTemperature changes may occur during ordinary handling.Compare readings with handling events and review the process.
Incorrect placementA tag may measure a different condition from the goods that matter.Select placement and validate what the reading represents.
Mixing product requirementsDifferent commodities may need different storage conditions.Set limits for the actual product and approved food-quality plan.
Assuming a normal reading proves safetyTemperature is one input into food-quality assessment.Use approved food-safety procedures and authorised decisions on affected stock.

HOW IT WORKS IN YOUR OPERATION

Sensor. Network.
Platform. People.

Attach NanoTag at an agreed monitoring position within a suitable storage or shipment application. Confirm wireless coverage and configure the relevant limits in ThermoCloud. Give operations and quality teams access appropriate to their responsibilities. Review graphs and downloaded reports together with receiving, handling and maintenance records.

ILLUSTRATIVE WORKFLOW

A reading becomes
a decision.

Illustrative scenario: a cold-store team sees a temperature excursion during a busy loading period. They investigate whether access practices, airflow or refrigeration contributed, assess affected goods through their food-quality process and adjust the handling routine. Monitoring provides the evidence for that investigation; the team provides the response.

Process example, not a reported client case study.

PLAN THE RIGHT DEPLOYMENT

Get the fit right
before you scale.

Confirm temperature range, placement, cleaning conditions and packaging suitability. NanoTag is described as water- and dirt-resistant, not waterproof or washdown-rated. A sensor reading does not automatically measure the core temperature of food or replace a required probe measurement. Humidity sensing and automated refrigeration control are not documented NanoTag features.

Start the conversation here.

  1. Which commodities or food categories are being monitored?
  2. Where are the most important storage and receiving points?
  3. What cleaning, moisture and packaging conditions will the sensor face?
  4. Who evaluates an excursion and how are supplier issues recorded?
